The Ismaili Community Ensemble (ICE), in collaboration with the Aga Khan Music Initiative in Central Asia (AKMICA), a programme of the Aga Khan Trust Culture (AKTC), is honoured to present the Alim Qasimov Ensemble, featuring the renowned vocalist Alim Qasimov and his daughter, Fargana Qasimova, accompanied by Rauf Islamov on kamancha (spike fiddle) and Zaki Valiyev on tar (long-necked lute), supported by members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) and the newly formed group, Flux.
